Hello CHM@L families,
This entire week will be dedicated to our outstanding teachers and staff for the awesome work they do! Our theme is “the Oscars”! Let’s show our teachers and staff what great stars they are!
Our highlight for the week is our special “shout outs”: please encourage children, and parents to write something nice or a thank you to their teacher, assistants, and our lovely staff members; principal Eatman, front office staff, our special teachers (pe, library, french teacher) our school nurse, our social worker and all around guy, Mr. Taylor, our special and resource dept., our arts and integration teacher, our cafeteria staff, our custodians and our security. These individuals all make up the greatest team any school could have!!!!!
5 cards have been sent home for your child(ren) to get started with their shout outs. There are more in the main lobby. Children may write as many as they like! Look for the two boxes labeled teachers and staff for collection of the cards.
Other highlights include:
- Monday – staff breakfast – catered by
- Tuesday – staff lunch – sponsored by the parents
- Wednesday – gift surprise
- Thursday – bring a flower
- Friday – be creative and do something nice
Volunteers are needed for the lunch on Tuesday:
- setup: 10:30am need 5 people
- clean up: 3:15pm need 5 people
