Beautification Day “Garden Work” Thank You from Mr. Taylor

Good morning CHML Parents,

Yesterday was amazing !! I have been looking at the garden for the past two weeks thinking, ” How am I going to get these weeds out of our space?”. Once again our school community embodied the Swahili term Umoja which means Unity. Everything was accomplished. Weeds were pulled, wood chips were spread, vegetables were harvested, and the school environment was beautified. GREAT ! GREAT ! I love to see our children look at their garden and have a sense of pride and wonderment. I know this year will be awesome. The key will be Umoja…All things can be done through Unity..

Looking forward, remembering the past, and living the present.
Thank you,
Mr. Taylor
