Capitol Hill Montessori’s movie night and chili cook off was a complete success and we are so thankful to all those who joined and supported the event. We had beautiful weather and kids enjoyed face painting, slime making, chalk art, and playing on the field and playground while the adults sampled the 10 entries for this year contest.
Concessions were a hit and all the consumable sugar was purchased.
This years winners were:
- Meat: Rachel Penn Martin representing Ms Wiley’s class and
- Vegetarian: Helena Smolich representing Ms Fennell’s class
It was great to see so many new families along with former families attend this wonderful community builder. Thank you again to our sponsors Fulcrum Properties, Chris Hardgrave Group, Prime Source Technologies and of course all the parents who contributed to make this annual event so much fun.
