We will be having a garden work day on Sunday October 15th from 10-1. We have a long list of things to do so we hope to see many of you so that we can prove that “many hands make light work”!
Our projects will include:
– Weeding the garden beds on 2nd street by the Children’s entrance
– Establishing and planting another butterfly garden bed
– Planting seedlings for fall food crops
– Establishing and planting an asparagus bed
– Planting bulbs from the Fall Bulb Fundraiser
– Spreading mulch to keep weeds down
– And more!
Even if you can only come for some of the time that will be great! Fell free to bring own gloves but there will be tools and gloves on site as well. Hope to see you then!
