Last week our students celebrated their annual International Day. Every classroom selects a country, spends several weeks learning about the culture, geography, history, and then prepares an immersive experience incorporating what they’ve learned. Students then “go on tour” through different classroom countries, learning from their peers and stamping their passports. Then they have an international parade showing their spirit and cultural attire of the countries.
In the evening, families gather for the international dinner. Each classroom prepares food and drinks from the country and shares with everyone. It’s an amazing experience to see what the students are learning and have delicious food together!
