Our goal for the annual donation drive is 100% family participation. You can donate whatever is comfortable for you – starting at $1 and up. It is also helpful and makes an impact. If you just want to donate straight away, please visit our Paypal donation link. To encourage you and your students, and each other, we are offering some enticements:
For classrooms that reach 75% family participation will have a pizza party. And classrooms that reach full 100% family participation receive a pizza party and pajama day!
There are also teacher experience raffle prizes each day. These are special activities hosted by teachers that are delightful for students. By donating on a particular day your name will be entered in the raffle for that day for one of the coveted spots. And if your children are in multiple classrooms, you can split your donation up across these days.
- Wednesday, March 4th – Fun with Ms. Warrick (4 primary, 4 lower, 4 upper)
- Thursday, March 5th – A Playdate with Ms. Kaufman (3 spots)
- Friday, March 6th – Planting & more…with Ms. McCracken (3 spots)
- Monday, March 9th – Sculpture, Stories, and Snacks with Ms. Sanchez (4 spots)
- Tuesday, March 10th – Museum and a picnic with Ms. Sloss (4 spots)
- Wednesday, March 11th – Student/Staff Basketball game (7 spots)
- Thursday, March 12th – Trail Mix Math with Mr. Steinberg (10 spots)
The two-week event ends with a celebration Thursday, March 12th at The Pug! This adult-only outing will give our community the chance to meet new families and reconnect with those we already know. We will have raffle prizes such as tickets to the Caps game, bar refrigerator, Amazon Fire Stick, and outdoor movie projector!
Parent volunteers will reach out to you these two weeks to remind you of the drive. All contributions are appreciated no matter the amount. Once a contribution has been made there will be no further outreach from our parent volunteers.
