Last month, our Newspaper Club posted the first, completely student-written edition of Monarch Minutes, Capitol Hill Montessori’s newspaper.
The paper features articles, cartoons, opinion pieces, photographs, stories, interviews, and book reviews by CHML students from different grade levels. In the past, Monarch Minutes has taken many forms, but this is the first time the newspaper has been entirely student-driven and student-led through the newly established Newspaper Club. The Club was able to publish a limited set of hard copies to share with classrooms, with support from PTSO, and will endeavor to fundraise to make more hard copies available for all who are interested.
