Loot for Logan is a two-week virtual donation drive hosted by the Capitol Hill Montessori PTSO. Funds raised through Loot help pay for Montessori materials, PE equipment, furniture, garden supplies, and so much more that makes our school beautiful and functional for our students and teachers.
We hope to raise $30,000 through our fundraising efforts, but our real goal is full participation from our community. Every dollar counts when it comes to raising money for our school. As Logan families, we recognize there is something special about our school and want to do everything we can to invest and support the community.
In addition to supporting our school’s classrooms, the unrestricted donations raised through Loot give our school community the flexibility to respond to opportunities and crises with great speed. Last school year is a perfect example of the critical need for unrestricted funds. The PTSO was able to provide assistance to families in need with electronic resources for learning at home, gift cards, clothing, and groceries.
Whether you prefer to make a monthly pledge or a one-time gift, please know how critically important your gift will be. The goal is for all families to participate in any way. Imagine if every family gave $5, $50, or $500 to our school how much of an impact we could collectively make. These funds are so important to making our classrooms the wonderful Montessori environments that they are.
