Loot for Logan is short, sweet, and important. This virtual fundraising campaign runs for an intensive week in September with a goal to raise $30,000. These family donations offer professional development to our teachers, extracurricular opportunities to all students, and connect our community with social events such as Movie Night and International Day.

This annual virtual fundraising campaign allows the PTSO to raise unrestricted funds for the school. As Logan parents we recognize there is something special about our school and want to do everything we can to invest and support the community. And these unrestricted donations give our school the flexibility to plan and budget responsibly, year over year, as well as respond to opportunities and crises with great speed—from providing new teachers with ample funds to outfit classrooms to providing clothing and groceries to families in need.

Whether you prefer to make a monthly pledge or a one-time gift, please know how critically important your gift will be.  The goal is for all families to participate in some way.  Imagine if every family gave $5, $50, or $500 to our school how much of an impact we could collectively make. These funds are so important to making our classrooms the wonderful Montessori environments that they are, and over the course of the campaign we will hear and see from teachers and staff how they are using these funds in their classrooms. Our own teacher, [Ms. Lee] has put together [a presentation/some photos/etc.] on how these funds have been used in our classroom.

Please consider donating to the PTSO general fund in any amount that suits your family’s budget!

Updates

We raised $1,675 on our first day!
…and donations are still rolling in! However, we have a ways to go to reach our goal, so if you haven’t already donated to Loot for Logan, please consider doing so! Every bit counts!
We are also bringing back the Student vs. Staff basketball game this year!!
If you want your student(s) to be entered into a drawing to win a spot on the elementary or middle school Student teams, make sure to donate by the end of our campaign on Oct. 7 and fill out this form. It was so fun to re-introduce this CHML tradition in our new basketball gym last year. The kids had a lot of fun, and we have some seriously talented staff in our school!! A donation in any amount can win your student a spot on the team.
Our teachers are also so grateful for your support!
Please see the attached presentation from Mr. Jian to see how he has used PTSO funds in his classroom!
